The Heater Cooler Upgrade Package manufactured by Premier Industries, Inc., provides evaporative cooling to upgrade Direct and/or Indirect fired heaters and Ventilating Equipment.
FEATURES:
Housing: Stainless
Steel, grade 304 18g or 16g on larger units. Sized as
specified.
Cooling Media: CELdekฎ or equal, 12 thick high efficiency
media.
Plumbing connections:
Stainless steel couplers welded to sump for drain, overflow and make up
water accessible for easy external connections.
Access Panel: Lift
off panel or hinged door as specified.
Pump: Close
coupled or air capable standup type.
Aluminum Face Louver Panel with birdscreen is
standard. Alternate Weatherhood
is available
Weatherhood: Stainless Steel grade 304.
Transition: Stainless
Steel grade 304 sized to mate with intake of heater.
ACCESSORIES:
Typical accessories are:
Dry filters: 2
thick throwaway type or washable filters or as specified.
Birdscreen:
Aluminum perforated sheet or ฝ x ฝ wire or as specified.
Drift (Moisture) Eliminators: 5-1/4 DRIFdekฎ or
equal or as specified.
Electrical Controls:
Pump controls externally mounted in generic enclosure.
Thermal Controller:
To control pump operation to preset temperatures.

A transition is recommended
to maintain the designed air velocity across the entire face area of the
cooling media. This is necessary in order to meet the performance demands specified
and preclude the problem of water entrainment in the air stream due to uneven
and excessively high velocities.
Preferred angle of the transition should not be less than 60 degrees
if space permits. |
